What was really cool about this setup was the cordless keyboards that came with it. This was exceptionally useful because WebTV is on your television, which means a desk is not needed.

You dont have to have WebTV to need wireless or cordless keyboards. They can come with any type of computer now, though most users dont seem to care either way. It can be hard to sit on the other side of the room to surf or work on your computer, unless you have a rather large screen on your computer. Most dont have large ones, but when it comes to the uses of cordless keyboards, those that need them may just have the larger screens for some very different reasons that just checking email and surfing MySpace online.

Some gamers find that wireless keyboards are really good ideas for some game playing. Though there are many joysticks and other devices they use, some games require a keyboard. This means they can kick back in their chairs without worrying about the cord attached to the computer. Those that like to watch movies on their computer find that they too can kick back in a comfortable chair while still having control of the movie right there in their laps when using the cordless keyboards.

There are many different cables and cords in use, and they can get tangled every easily, and it can be easy to get them mixed up to the point where someone may not be sure about what goes with what. Having a cordless keyboard means one less wire to worry about, and one less tripping hazard that may be in place when the computer has to be in a less than ideal spot in the home. These cordless keyboards are usually not much more than the corded type, so that makes the decision rather easy.
