AVAILABILITY
I ordered my teleconverter online, from Buycomp
just before midnight on a Sunday evening for $120.90, and selected
Fed-Ex second day delivery The convertor arrived Wednesday morning.
OPERATION NOTES
Telephoto mode:
- With TELEFOTO active, both internal and external flash will
be off.
- For tele photos at close range, macro close up mode is recommended
Normal Mode:
- Set Flash to cancel to avoid uneven or excessive lighting
- Zoom should be used only between the middle and the full
telephoto positions
- 700 note: Shadows will appear in the four corners of the
screen if digital zoom is OFF or set to x1.25
General
- The optical viewfinder cannot be used to compose telephoto
pictures with the TC-E2 attached.
- Some distortion may occur in the periphery of photographs
taken with the teleconvertor
- The lens hoods HN-23 and HN-24 may be used to prevent ghosting
caused by bright light sources just outside the field of view.
