There are there different types of DVD recorders such as DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW and DVD RAM. The DVD-R/RW lets you record into rewriteable discs. The disc can only be used on well-suited DVD-R/RW players. The DVD+R/RW are similar to the DVD-R/RW. It is compatible with other DVD players, offering more features as compared to the DVD-R/RW. The onscreen menu of this type of DVD record enables easy skipping from program to program.
