Midori President Larry White introduced a new portable tokonoma display area. This layout was developed to facilitate transport to
the meetings and dress up our meeting displays!
Past GSBF President Seiji Shiba
made a plea for volunteer docents to help support the newly opened GSBF Collection North Garden. Docents are needed to staff the
interpretive center and assist with garden and plant maintenance.

arrived with a beautifully constructed bookcase that the Church has kindly agreed to let us store on site. Vice President Doug Philips and Bob
put this beauty together.

coordinated a sale of material donated by former Midori member Oliver Kilroy, who has moved out of state. We're sorry to see
Oliver leave, but everyone enjoyed browsing the material.

CUPERTINO CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL
Midori Members
waved the flag at Cupertino's Cherry Blossom Festival held Saturday and Sunday April 29th and 30th. Gerry Fields, Bob Bugay, Tim Rostege, Larry White
and others took time out of their weekend to set up a display and converse with the public about bonsai in general and Midori in specific.
