Mr. Chroust is an Electrical Engineer employed by Mallinckrodt Inc in Pleasanton California as Year 2000 Technical Manager.
In addition to his hobby of maintaining a growing bonsai collection favoring Japanese Maple and White Pine, he is involved in website development and applications of digital
photography at lost-oasis.com. He enjoys the study of Japanese language and culture. Matt has been involved in bonsai since 1989.

HISTORY
Midori Bonsai Club was founded December 31, 1961
MEETINGS
Midori meets twice each month at the Social Hall of St. Edwards Episcopal Church, Union at
Highway 85, San Jose, CA. The first
Thursday of each month is the General Club Meeting held at 7:30 PM. The third Thursday is the Open Forum Social Evening. The club maintains a lending library of bonsai publications, holds an annual show and home tour, and publishes an award-winning newsletter.
